I am putting together a newsletter for our local Islamic school to be printed monthly. Of course it wil be a low budget project with color prints from Kinkos. 100 copies maximum.
I need a title, and a layout.
The name of the school is Aisha Siddiqah School. I’d like to have a double sided 8.5" x 11" easy deal. 3 columns.
I am planning to have the following sections:
General Announcements
Updates on Class Curriculum
Essays by students (2-3 depending on space)
Maybe some other stuff.
I would really appreciate some ideas from all of you. Thanks.
Lusi, I am just doing one sheet double sided. There may be themes but as part of the content.. Like December’s issue may have an article on Hajj.
Mirchi pa, thanks for the template. I may use it although I usually design stuff in QuarkXPress or InDesign. Hubby has done something to my desktop and neither of the 2 programs are working at this time. If I’m unable to fix it then I will be using MS Word
