Now things will get exciting of the wickets r not like in the ODIs … If there is a bit of Green on the pitches this could be an exciting series … India will have the Batting bolstered by the arrival of Laxman, Dravid and Co.

NZ will look to the young and inexperienced to show glimpse of the talent they possess

Re: New Zealand v India at Hamilton 1st Test

**Indian team is in great form ......... It will be tough ask for young inexperienced NZ players

Re: New Zealand v India at Hamilton 1st Test

Currently 179/6 in 57 overs, good recovery. I thought even NZ is attempting to break our record :naraz:

Lots of 'em seem new to me... did NZ also reset their team like we did post WC'03 ? "Preparing for WC'07" :D

Its funny howa test match grows on u. Uwatch 1 over and just cant give up

BTW Ryder's maiden century was BRILLIANT, the over where Ian Briangot outwas fantastic climax

GO NZ

Re: New Zealand v India at Hamilton 1st Test

Harbhajan is a waste of space in the team. His good performances in recent times have come only on graveyard wickets. I see hardly any variety in his bowling or any great creativity. And worst of all, it still looks like he chucks. I don't quite understand Dhoni's fondness for him.

The guy has remained in the limelight in the recent times but only due to wrong reasons. And to deserve the *Padma Shri....*it is crazy.

Re: New Zealand v India at Hamilton 1st Test

**Nzl all out for 279 …
India 29/0

:vivo:

The fact that the likes of little-known Ryder and Vettori (admittedly no mug with the bat) got hundreds shows that this pitch is full of runs. Indian seamers probably had the best of the bowling conditions. Barring a flurry of wickets in the morning session on day 2, I expect India to post a big score here. A first innings lead is always vital when playing on seaming wickets

Re: New Zealand v India at Hamilton 1st Test

At Stumps - Day 2** - ****India 278/4

Not a good scoring rate at the moment, Sachin is at **70

Re: New Zealand v India at Hamilton 1st Test

Re: New Zealand v India at Hamilton 1st Test

Good show by Sachin and the rest of the Indian Team. Zaheer's half century was an added bonus..

Re: New Zealand v India at Hamilton 1st Test
