new yorkers help

Re: new yorkers help

Mr Frudaia,
Not sure if you have found a suitable hotel yet. In case your last option is a hotel at the airport....id suggest your better off getting a hotel in jersey city/elizabeth/newark...they have hilton/sheraton..dunno whatever etc...but it would be a easier train ride to midtown manhattan...then a cab ride from near the airport if its JFK....traffic around jfk is typically horrendous...and pricey tolls....
train i believe the subways are easier to get around with, esp if u plan to hang around manhattan as well. No worries about parking fees etc either.

Re: new yorkers help

it was a hotel that was not available on expedia. the list of hotels that I posted were the ones that had availability on expedia, but per someone's advise over here, I went to the hotels directly and found availability so booked it. Thank you for your highly informative responses though :)
