Gizzy hooked me up with some recovery software that helped me retrieve most of the pictures I had lost. (the computer froze while I was transferring the pictures. Yea just my luck). So I got most of them back, but some of the good ones are really gone forever :(, BUT, I’m not complaining, because if it weren’t for him I would’ve never gotten these pictures back. Thankyou so much Gizzy bhai :hug:

Ohh man there was this HUGE picture of this really cute guy posted up against the side of a building and I just couldn’t resist :love:. The picture turned out pretty nice. (the taxi cab serving as a contrast to the colorless ad in the back)

As soon as we got our hotel, the first thing I did was walk over to the window and open the blinds, expecting to see a beautiful view of the NYC skyline. Instead, I opened the curtains to see an ENORMOUS Jewish Cemetary :(. I'm guessing this is where those Anti-Seminitism acts took place where people were spraying the Nazi symbol on the graves. Innit?

The subway was actually standing in one place, but right as I took the picture, It started moving, and somehow, by utter luck, I got a picture of the American flag posted on the side of the bus whizzing past. Vroom vroom. New York’s subway goes faster than DCs. I still like the DC metro better :snooty:

Graffiti. Took this while in the car. I took lots of graffiti pics, but they didn’t survive either. The thing I noticed about NY’s graffiti was that the people actually tie in some artistic skills as well. Unlike most of the DC graffiti, which is just a bunch of kids running around with spray paint bottles. The fumes seem to be getting to their heads.

We didn’t even go to see the Statue of Liberty this time. I’ve already seen it like twice or thrice. I’m sure it hasn’t changed lol. :stuck_out_tongue: Anyways, so I accidentally took a picture of it and it came up in one of these pictures I took while we were crossing over the bridge.

Yea there was like 8 tollbooths from MD to NY. :eek: Yea $9 is a lot for a freakin toll…and that was just for LEAVING New York! Heh, check out the American Flag up next to it. Maybe they want people to feel that they’re doing an act of patriotism by giving taxes, tolls, etc. :rolleyes:

siht...this ground zero is bringing so many memories...after seeing this picture, all the mood went off...I was in NY just 3 weeks before that disaster...and couldn’t believe what happened to this beautiful city later…!

I guess NY is one of the Best city in the world to watch ( Manhattan only )

yea omg our hotel room was like literally 5 minutes away from jackson heights :dhimpak: lol so we like hung out there for quite some time, and then yea we rode the subway to manhattan and all that tourist stuff. and yes ofcourse we rode in teh subway :smack: lol why else would we have been standing at the station. (in order to stand inside the station you have to have bought a card :smack: ) lol so we drove some places, but mostly we rode the subway because we didn’t have to deal with parking.
