Put yourself in the shoes of the families of the deceased.. of the locals who felt UNDER ATTACK that day.. obviously they are not going to like this idea..

Why? Just because attackers were Muslim?
What kind of logic is that?

And this logic has been defeated by NY panel itself. So if you have any objection then beat your drums in front of that panel. First try convincing them. Then cry out foul here.

If I was in the mosque committee I would withdraw my request.
