Also to simplify my life, but I'm sure that I have simplified more than you could dream at this stage.
Simplicity is the way to go. Drive a toyota thats paid for instead of a LEXUS LS 400 for which you have to dish out $600 every month.
My resolution is also simplicity. I'll try to make all new purchases on cash instead on credit.
