nobody but nobody is building militaries purely to annihilate someone. its not been suggested yet(you may have hoped i would, if so, sorry ). the 200 israelli nukes pointing at all the major muslim cities right now are a sore point. leave you to think about this
And the Israelis r not happy that the incoming sec of state of us has said that indeed Israel has nukes, we all know that they had them, but now it is confirmed and no can deny it...hmm i was wondering if israel did nuke a muslim city or area, what would be the response of the world, compare that to if a muslim country nuked israel.

200 Israeli nukes, please provide credible evidence for this. No Islamic countries having diplomatic relations with Israel is no less a sore point for them in terms of peaceful recognition. Everyones military is bred to counter their immediate threats i.e. for Israel it is Arab states, for Pakistan it is India, for North Korea it is South korea and Japan and during cold war it was USA and Russia vice versa.
Bhai, I am not Pro Israeli however we should not tell others they need an attitude adjustment unless we are willing to give ourselves one and recognize our faults. Israel and Arabs neither can cover up their mistakes by use of force and denying acceptance of one another. Have the jews not lived with Arabs before? The whole problem as I have said before was that the creation of Israel puts a spot on the creation of a Pan-Arabic state. This is a long lost dream and it should be buried now. Its time to get on with the future.
I have yet to see a peace proposal from Arabs that says they all end the state of war with Israel and will have diplomatic relations and trade agreements with them and then see how far the plan for the creation of the Palestinian state goes. If after that they do not play hunky dory then you have a valid flashpoint to pursue agressively against them.

your viewpoint fits in with cnn very well. that in the current climate itself tells you that you are indeed taking away from muslims. the biggest mistake arabs made was being too nice to jewish people dont fall into offering your heart felt niceties. especially when youve fallen into the trap of not offering your sympathy to the arabs.
people with a big heart like to give alot. people with a big heart should be kept away from representing palestine, muslims. it is time for defence to take precedence

Every peace proposal rejected. Perhaps you did not read what I had said. Peace proposal with the conditions I laid bare. Is there anything other than mistakes the Arabs have made in this cause?
My sympathies are for Palestinian Arabs, believe me. However they must admit their mistakes and take a new route to peace here. Admiting mistakes is not a sign of weakness but needed to clear the heads and chalk up a proper strategy than just blowing up themselves and eating zaatar.
Well the people representing the Palestinian people in the last 50 years have done nothing except getting them killed and let Israel get away with more and more land.
Perhaps people with a big brain need to represent them now, and it certainly will not be one with viewpoints similar to yours.

Get a deal done with a government that denies its existence and wants to destroy it? How long do the Palestinians get to change this ridiculous, counterproductive policy?
As far as the intifada, we all know (but deny in macho fashion) who that hurts. How much further can they sink?

You know there is only two ways in my mind to go through with this:
1 - Either the Arabs start backing up the Palestinians and help them in an armed conflict.
2 - Or, if the Arabs are so gun shy then the Palestinians should stick to a peace agreement and stop their killing and starvation. After 60 years they should be able to figure out where the political loyalty of the Arab countries lies.

well your first suggestion was my suggestion that you vehemently disagreed with. your second suggestion is not acceptable to palistinians or arabs. if you seek eveidence of arab political loyalties you will find. israelli firepower shys them off a bit, if you know what i mean.

Well then based on that who do you think is committing suicide then, if not Palestinians, politically and literally. That was one of my initial points, if they are willing to endure more and more punishment then who can help them but themselves. If they have a state in which Israeli's incur agression then the status quo will be quite different but they need to change their status one way or the other.

im not a fan of taking steps back to go forward. the philosophy doesnt appeal to me. its always been used to dampen situations and leave everything as is.
your right though, the status quo does need changing and fast. ahmedinejads recent meeting with haniya will hopefully bring detterent hardware.
one of the points im disappointted with is the continuation of palestine aid being fed through israelli government. there was something about it a few weeks ago, but not read anything since. this would be a symbolic and long awaited move which strips israel of one of its nastiest weapons.
