Re: are sharara's and gharara's most fashionable rite now?
I love being up to date on trends and fashions but here is the deal:
Your body type, complexion and taste determine what will make you look stunning on your wedding day.
Some women look amazing in very contemporary looks and some look just plain wierd. Those women can pull of a traditional look beautifully. The trick is, find a color combination that suits your skin tone first and then a style that suits your body type.
In Pakistan, you will find everything being done when it comes to the wedding day. You will find shararas, lehngas, ghararas, patiala shalwars, chooridar pajamas, peshwaz, etc. You name it and its been done! Personally, I feel the traditional look of a bride is what makes her the bride. How many times in your life will you wear a jhoomer and tika?
I know a girl who wore a peshwaz on her wedding and another girl who wore one on her valima. I know a girl who wore a gharara on her wedding day and another girl who wore it on her mehndi. Find the styles you have always wanted to sport and rock them out during your wedding functions...this is the time to do it!!!
