It’s too early to tell what kind of year 2011 will be for kids’ movies, but ‘Gnomeo and Juliet’](Gnomeo & Juliet (2011) - Movie | Moviefone) has already made over 75 million dollars, and ‘Rango’](Search Results for 'rango' | Moviefone) (featuring the voice talent of Johnny Depp) releases this weekend. Two of this year’s most anticipated animated features won’t be out until summer and fall - when ‘Kung Fu Panda 2’](Kung Fu Panda 2 (2011) - Movie | Moviefone) and ‘Puss in Boots’](Puss in Boots (2011) - Movie | Moviefone) land in theaters. Those releases seem very far away at this point, but DreamWorks doesn’t want you to forget about either feature - hence the release of two new trailers.
The company is betting that both films will be a hit with under-10 set. If these two new previews are any indication, they may be on to something.
