Well this is the first really active forum about punjabi/urdu poetry I have yet found. Just wanted to thank you for that.
I stumbled upon apnaorg (have to put it like that because of the 25 post rule, sorry - Just put “dot com” after apnaorg) a while ago and thought the people here would appreciate it. There is a lot of pakistani/punjabi-urdu poetry as well as sikh/punjabi-gurmukhi poetry. I don’t know if it has been posted before but here it is anyways.
There is a very big collection of many great desi poets such as Bulleh Shah, Baba Farid and many others. You can even read Heer-Ranjha in its entirety. There are even recordings of the original poets presenting their own work. I hope you love that webiste as much as I do.
PS: I love this stuff, even learned how to read urdu(well I have to review a bit, its been a while) because of it so don’t hate. Anyhow, take care.
