would just like ot say i breathed a sigh of relief when i found this forum.
I am very new to lahore and live in the Defence area. I would be so greateful for any information. i cant seem to find any activiteis for children, like a sport centre, arts and craft or music. is there ay sort of leisure centres in and around lahore.
Also is there any local parent and child groups where you can meet up for coffee and play?
im also looking for a femail quran teacher who teaches with tajweed and an urdu teacher as the children need to pick up the language.
my children do not attend school as they are homeschooled.
would also like some info on reputable maid service.
Hi..well I don't have kids but I am from Lahore so I'll just tell you what I know..people can add on..
Many schools offer summer schools/activities and they are normally advertised in the local paper. You can also drop in the nearby schools and check. There's also some institution on Mall road which offers activities for kids, sorry I forgot it's name. I think it is around the Alhamra area.
There aren't any groups that I know of, maybe you can start with your neighbors or take an initiative and start a group of your own. For the teacher you can check classifieds in the local paper specially on sunday. And for the maid normally it works by asking someone like your neighbor/relative if they know of someone they can recommend, however no one can give any guarantee better use all your senses to check and judge :)
