But holy crap, the price is a bit more than I was expecting 
I thought Tena Durrani prices were still a bit more on the lower end but I guess I was mistaken. This is the prices she sent me:
Shirt 320,000
Choli 62,000
Lehnga 155,000
Dupatta 165,000
So total is basically $7,000 USD (~700,000 rupees)
My budget is 5 lakh so this really sucks cause I love this outfit 
Anyone know reputable people who can make a copy? I’m just terrified of copies cause now that I have this exact outfit in my head I want it to be exact. So done with the designer prices lol. Alright sorry, rant over!

I don’t understand, where is the choli? Honestly I think her work is overpriced. If I were you, I would order the shirt and dupatta if you LOVE it. Then, you can EASILY make the lengha somewhere and save yourself literally probably over $1,000.
Where is the choli, is it basically like a tube top underneath? Because I think she’s saying you can do a shirt OR choli since lengha choli is the style these days (for bridal def go long).
So really it’s only 485,000. You can ask her to cut a little bit here and there to leave yourself room to make the lengha within 5k.

The choli is under the gown. I get what your saying and I’ll think about that. I just don’t want the kaam of the lehenga to look different than the rest if I get it made elsewhere. Thanks for the help!

True. And maybe I can get the shirt done first and once I have the shirt in person I can show the kaam wala the kaam on the shirt so he can see exactly what the kaam consists of and replicate it better. Thanks for the idea!

For my cousin's shaadi 2 years ago I bought a ready to wear heavy formal top from Sana Safinaz on sale (because it had no dupatta and pants) and then had pants made with kaam. Did exactly that at some kaam wala in F/10 in Islamabad - brought them the top, they did a sample motif in front of me so they could test the exact kaam and replicate. Looked fantastic, and saved myself like 20,000 rupees - just for pants!
Designers make LOTS of margins on the bottom. The shirt is where the focus is. Also in Tena Durrani's clothes I find the kaam is really different between shirt and lengha, that's her style, so it won't matter at all.
If you love a designer outfit and you don't want to make a replica (which I don't either for my shadi), there are ways to do it.

I assume if they are giving separate prices of each piece that they are willing. Otherwise I think they would just give one price of the whole outfit...
