Well the good part is that it can still be optimized/improved. From what I have read, it has been already. I’d say it’s not so much of a deal breaker as much as a disappointment. I’ll discuss it in more detail shortly. In a nutshell, I feel somewhat let down as a console gamer. Though PCs and consoles are conceptually the same thing, consoles used to have more of a plug and play aspect to them, where you could just put in the game and start it up. I can’t say if that’s the same story with the PS4, but my guess is that due to the Bluray drive read limitations (i.e. speed) and the size of the games (20+ GB), they need to install them to the HDD. The good part is that you don’t need to wait for the (complete) install to start playing the game.
