stoppit- i know you helped, thanks i was asking if anyones applied SINCE july 2012, and whats happening with theirs.

and i know 25k is nothing in terms of todays living expenses, but i know many couples who live on alot less than that with 2 o3 kids. i would probably be with my parents initially, aleast for a year or so once hubbys in the uk, so maybe i could use their address etc, but am sure i need my own income.

anyway main point was to ask if anyones going through it now.

I don’t see how it makes a difference. All the rules and requirements are clear. There were never exceptions before and there won’t be now.

yes, you will be the sponsor for a spouse visa, so you need the savings or income and be able to prove them. you will need at least 6 months of payslips showing you earn above the threshold, so after getting a job you will need to hold it down for longer than 6 months before you apply. i went through all this in the other thread.
