Re: new shoes & blisters

I had shoes that gave my ankles blisters too
They hurt like hell and made me feel blue :(
For days I twisted and bent the hard painful part
And made it soft and comfy, now that was an art.

So hear what follows, it's my advice on this
Don't let your shoes win, that takes the piss
Bend them for days to make them flex and give way
Some say that ruins them, but it give no more pain, yay!

Re: new shoes & blisters

buy good quality and well fitting shoes, u wont get blisters.

Re: new shoes & blisters

Shoes like that come at a price
To have that kinda cash would be nice
But those of us not quite like those misters
Have to buy shoes that give us blisters

Re: new shoes & blisters

maddie

u dunn hafta spend mucho dollar
to save u from much cry and holler
keep some simple rules in mind
and to your dogs you'll be kind

not the case, I have bought 30 quid shoes on sale at next and burtons which were more comfortable than other shoes I had spent much more on.

shoe has to give you enough support, has to have enough cushioning, enough flexibility, the right width, the right amount of toe room, the right room based on the width of your ankles, and the height of your foot i.e. from sole to the top of the foot at the middle of the foot and the front of teh foot, the opening of the shoe has to either be lower than your ankles so it does not rub on them or has to be above ankles..i.e. a boot.

now go shopping, and dont just fall for good looks and/or prices and/or brand

Re: new shoes & blisters

put padded plasters on feet i.e. heels and toes (anywhere you anticipate rubbing) before you put on a new pair of shoes. and Or put them in a warm place like a sunny windowsill to soften the shoe and make it pliable, wear the shoes and they will stretch and mould themselves around the shape of your feet.
