new sabziyan

Re: new sabziyan

Seabea, beef strips with mushrooms sound yummy. I bet it would taste even better with bell peppers and all.

adra: i didnt say i dont like arvi, i happen to love it. But here you dont get the good arvi or so ammi says, i havent tried making it yet. I think i should add it to the list. I make asparagus the same way and love it but hubs doesnt care for it this way. I think i need to find a different recipe.

Re: new sabziyan

Oops i had forgotten about this thread. I will try brocoli rabe chipsy and Mahru but how much of each quantity?

Re: new sabziyan

2 bunches of the rabe and i 8 oz of spinach.

Re: new sabziyan

Also broccoli rabe i think is a little bitter...if you don't like the bitter/qarwa taste, just use regular broccoli. I use frozen broccoli too. Two 10oz packs of broccoli & 1 10 oz pack of chopped spinach. Just boil in about 3 cups of water, with chopped green peppers if you want until super duper cooked.
Then mash add salt, pepper, red chili poder if u like ....
in abowl mix about 1 heaping tablespoon of atta with water into a thin paste...then add that to spinach mix, stirring so no lumps r formed. Then just saute garlic in oil and add to spinach mix :)
