Yea, the same goes for those jokes. And jokes about Pakistanis, Muslims, etc. They’ve all been allowed in the past so long as they aren’t crude, inappropriate, or “bad humor”.
This issue has come up several times in the past.

if you guys were frequent visitors of jokes forum, you would have seen that some of the jokes that were being posted were highly offensive, and absolutely rude and crude. that's why we felt that it was necessary to remind people to stay clear of anything offensive. that's not really a new rule, it's been there for eons, but it's easily ignored by many. do post your jokes, but don't make them offensive. if they are, they are removed.

^ I totally agree with you, khumar. I think jokes that are in bad taste and are moreso offensive towards a specific race (as opposed to just light humor) should not be tolerated at all.
What I'm talking about is the new rule (which has never previously been a rule in the Jokes forum) that jokes regarding religion or ethnicity is not allowed. I don't think a few dummies that post highly offensive 'jokes' about a certain race or religion specifically to offend them should ruin it for the rest of us.

Jokes are there for a laugh and people shouldn't take them seriously. So long as they don't border on being offensive I don't think there is any harm in having jokes about ethnicity or religion. Some people need to lighten up.

So what if someone posts a sardar joke or a polish joke? It's a joke and a lot less offensive than what's being said in PA WA R&S etc.
I'm just waiting for some ninny to start a "doies Quram allow (make that alav) sardar jokes.
