Did anyone watch BRITZ? I am still watching it! Total disgrace to the Asian community and Islam. How dare Sohail act like a muslim and start drinking and do obscene acts? It was sick and I was so embarrassed!

I hope all the characters die sooner than later for acting like S***in that drama- insulting us decent muslims- imagain what all the other ethnic communities will think of us!, I hope to god channel 4 studio burns out and never comes back on air ever again with that tacky drama! AMEEENNNNN

I understand that but did he have to play a scene where it shows s** scenes? I know its happening alot amongst western asians as someone said above, but atleast they are not exposing themselves as Riaz Ahmed did in the programme. Atleast they are keeping it covered and not letting the whole world know knowing its wrong..

Just watched the 2nd part - Naseema's side! Its so sad to see what these radacalists(sp) are doing? Giving the wrong impression to everyone that it says in Islam to kill etc...
Now after watching that, the first thing that i said to my husband was that women and girls are probably gonna be targeted and searched. I am even more scared living in this country now..

well if yo u people really open your eyes.. and see muslims do drink here. not all but some of muslim youth drink. and i tink drama was pretty ok. bcoz this wil happpen if some boy turns up as bf of a muslim girl.. police is harsh towards muslims.. not in london. but other parts of uk..
and muslims are turned into exremists by same method as it was in drama.. but these people have wrong views...... we should use our own brains and do some research befroe trusting these fanatics....

i thought it was fantastic. great acting and a fantastic story. i felt very sori for nasima and i dont really blame her for doing wot she did.
although sum scenes wer a bit unessary but nonetheless great all round.

obvisouly this drama showed two sides the one were the child is exteremly westernised and the other were the child is an "extermist" its funny how the moderate muslim youth never get represented on tv

thats exactly why i found it boring, Muslims who drink alcohol and have premarital sex is nothing new especially in the UK, some parts of the drama were pointless and not relevant. And they could have found some better actors!

I dont think it was misrepresenting the Islamic community just showing facts on why young muslims are targeted by terrorist and what leads these youngesters to do such things.
Oh and the obscene acts ur talking about tell the MUSLIM Asians to not do such things in public becouse its sick and embarrasing. everyone is aware of such sins committed by these people yet you cannot sit and watch them showing it to you on TV.

I think your taking the drama to a bit of an extreme with this reply of yours, were in the drama did they show that DECENT MUSLIMS are being insulted. I dunno what you saw but what i saw was young muslims getting sucked into terrorism because of ones tragedy's of life. you really need to grow up and face facts that they show in that drama. :)

Overall!! i found the drama extremely good and makes u wonder waht really will happen if Young muslims carry on what they are doing yeah they say its in the name of religion, Jihad etc. but is it really.
Actors were brilliant i think chanel 4 did a really good job in showing it. :@:
