How about a religion field in the profile? When it comes to religious discussions, it is good to know the other’s faith.

Well, its a clear NO then. This has been asked before, and the reply was the same (for obvious reasons).
- there is no check on who fills in what [a Hindu can fill in Muslim, A Muslim can fill in Sikh] etc, etc

It goes for every thing then like to gender, nationality, religion, location, maritial status, social status, occupation, age ... and etc ...
But as AQ said, religion is not suitable here, indeed its necessary sometimes as to know whom we are discussing with, but as mentioned above a hindu can always portray itself as a Muslim when needed to humiliate Islam ... so yes its a 'no' need for this option!

the main important thing is that ahmdeez, qaadiani, shiaz etc wo kabhi khul kar samnay nahi aatay. thats their most important characteristic. Wo hamesha end par samnay atay haiN jab unki kartoot samnay a jaye, warna they like to pretend as they are Sunni's.
