From now on there will now be zero tolerance in World Affairs, on any flaming, personal attacks, insulting generalisations about any nation, religion, race or other groups of people.
The term “Fag” is insulting and derogatory and it’s use by any members is unacceptable under Gupshup Policy, why is it’s use being allowed?

One could argue respectfully and intelligently that the US government should screen Arabs more closely at airports post 9/11.
Or one could use your approach and say that no sand ni**ers should be allowed in the US again because they are smelly terrorists and those currently here should be shipped some where else where they will be accepted.
Many ignorant American 'conservatives' would choose the latter method. That makes you no better than them.

Frankly I think this zero tolerance policy and political correctness is going way too far. By referring to “ignorant American conservatives,” I could probably cry foul that you are making an insulting generalization about a group of people. Qualifying it by saying “many” doesn’t really remedy the problem.
For about a decade, Democrats felt that calling them “Liberal” was insulting too. They ran from the label like a bunch of cockroaches from the light.
I think referring to gay men as “fags” and “Faggots” is childish and ignorant. At some point shouldn’t readership be given enough credit to be discerning.

I qualified my remark with "ignorant" to imply that not all conservatives would use that method, only the ignorant ones. Just like all conservative Muslims don't use Kaleem's method of discourse.

Thanks for qualifying your remark. Even so, my guess is that you think the number of conservatives falling in the “ignorant” wing of the movement is pretty large. 
So they could still be considered a “group of people” who would consider it a personal attack and/or insulting generalization to call them “ignorant.” You might view it as just being descriptive or self-evident.

I don't care what group you claim or are categorized in, ignorant is ignorant. You said yourself that thread was ignorant, and I know you agree that so is my hypothetical example above.
