kya haaal hain everybody!
As i came to states to dubai 2-3 days back i saw this new channel which had a cool format and later found aout that it was Pakistani, its being aired on the same Ptv and Zee tv LNB called as Indus Vision, well its official opening was yesterday in KHI, i think that the channel is KHI based!
if any1 of u know abt this channel so do mention

Yes, it is paki-based and I think its being launched from Japan - there have been plenty of articles about it from THE NEWS and DAWN. I think Ghazanfar Ali - the guy behind the drama "Jaal" is heading it...The best part is that this channel is not subject to censure from stupid paki govt regulations and censorship on the media! So, the stuff on Indus Vision should defnitely be a lot more open!
Thats means a lot more Indian movies and music.

i would personally love to see some Pakistani channel payback ZeeUSA, TVASIA(US) as well as SONY(US) for all the Pakistani programming that they have broadcasted; includes soap operas, as well as movies and music from Junoon, Sajjad and Junaid.
If Indian channels can play Paki material, then there is no reason why Paki channels cant do the same. !

sorry to burst your bubbles guys, but that channel is mostly paki programming - they've got this good drama showing "chalte chalte" with nadeem and model natasha hussain. I haven't heard of any indian programming yet

Yes there is one of low quality, called
ICTV
search for it on the web - though i wouldnt bother; pakiAmericans havent shifted from Zee and B4U yet!

ill say try the ZEE, ZGold,Sony,TVAsia and B4U package from dish network. Quality channels and ull get your money's worth.
My cuz has ICTV and he told me its for soap opera enthusiasts.
