ACM Kaleem Saadat will be retiring from his long and successful PAF career on 20 March 2006. His tenure as the chief has been a historic and highlighted one. The warm and relaxed demeanor and friendly smiling face of this fighter will be remembered among the greats of Pakistan’s military. I hope his valuable services are henceforth redeemed in some other related arena in the best interest of the nation.
His successor is the current Vice Chief of Air Staff Air Marshall Tanveer Mehmood Ahmed who has been in his current appointment for 2 years and is a highly experienced and seasoned fighter pilot.
