We’ve got new neighbors, a Lebanese family of 5. I need idea’s as to what I should put in a ‘welcome basket’. I already went-out and bought a nice basket, I just need to know what I could put in it. Thank you!

I like starbucks already made baskets. It usually has coffee, some mints, and 2 mugs in it. You could do something like that and add maybe homemade cookies in it.

oooo so manyyy ideas!
you could do an assortment of teas or coffees
selection of chocolates/sweets/bite size pastries
collection of savories ... spreads/dips or pickles
basket of cheeses, fruits, nuts
or collection of kitchen towels, oven mitt, small potted plant/herbs, plant-able seeds, candles, pkt of potpourri, .... ummm you get the idea!
I loooove putting together gift baskets! ... so much fun!

What if they do not like coffee /chai. You should substitute it with gahwa/qahwa/Jasmine tea which all Arabs like. so I am told.

We did welcome baskets for out of town guests once that flew in for a wedding.
We bought really cute baskets and filled them with chocolate, biscuits, a Chicago t-shirt, mug, lemonade mix (it was summer), hot chocolate mix, candy, touristy pamphlets that could help them enjoy their time in town and wrapped it all in colorful cellophane with a big bow on top.
