‘New Murree’ To Be Built Soon: CM
LAHORE, Pakistan : Feb 17 (PNS) - Punjab Chief Minister, Ch Pervaiz Elahi has said that provision of means of communication and other necessary infrastructure is being ensured in order to accelerate the pace of social development.
He said a new city by the name of “New Murree” would be set up near old Murree, where five star hotels, residential scheme for diplomats, shopping mall and other necessary facilities would be made available. He stressed that composite programme is being implemented to promote international tourism in Punjab.
Ch Pervaiz Elahi made these observations during his meeting with the High Commissioner of Canada in Pakistan, Margaret Huber and Ambassador of Spain, Antonie, Monday. Senior Political Officer of Canada, Izad Ali, Honorary Consel General of Spain, Abdul Salam and Provincial Secretary for Communication and Works, Sibtain Fazal-e-Haleem, were also present. The Chief Minister said that a comprehensive project is being implemented to quicken the pace of industrialisation.
Talking on occasion, the High Commissioner of Canada, Margaret Huber, said that trade relationship between the two friendly countries is fast improving. The Ambassador of Spain, Antonie, said that a great headway has been made in art and culture sector between Spain and Pakistan. He said Pakistan is an enlightened country and hoped that the artistes of Spain will play an important role in the promotion of creative activities in Punjab.

yet another Murree, or is it more development of partiata area???
how will it help industries ? or tourism?
real tourists definitely prefer more northern areas than murree. or its just plan to make another hill point for Pak elite?
