I want to get a gift for a dear relative in Pakistan. What’s something special that I could get from here (US) that isn’t easily available in pak? Of course Im going to get her a card and an outfit for the baby, but anything special/unique for her? the bebe?

^ these are all available, I think clothes is the best option because there is very limited option n depends which city you are going Lahore n Karachi almost got each n every thing and yes diaper bag if possible there is hardly any good diaper bag I ever saw

Yes, diaper bag. You can fill it up too if your budget allows, with teething toys, a soft blankie with the baby’s initials, some onesies and a couple outfits. You get a good variety of wipes/diapers/skincare etc there.

Diapers here are considered better quality wise, also those are really expensive in Pakistan. Yes, baby outfits here are really better.

- Diapers
- A good rash cream
- Nappy bags (as in the little bags you can throw smelly nappies in)
- Baby nail cutter/scissors
- Baby monitor (very handy)

Now just consider whether she’d prefer the kind of diaper bag that looks like a diaper bag or one that does not. Lots of cute options in both categories.

Baby monitors would be appreciated, also clothing, sleeping blankets, pretty frocks and accessories if baby is a girl

I agree with the above suggestion. I live in pak and baby girls accessories are not so common here. Also I couldn’t find a decent snow suit anywhere and had to ask my sister to get me one from Canada.

when we went to Pakistanin February, we used the warm fleece footed rompers all the time.. something like this 2013 winter new arrival cute cartoon designer infant baby boys warm velvet fleece footed hoody romper jumpsuits 5pcs/lot -in Rompers from Apparel & Accessories on Aliexpress.com
I never used it much in the US because of central heating inside the house and couldnt bundle up the baby like this in car seat so we used to put blankets on him for to and from the car but in Pakistan, since there is no central heating, this was the most useful thing ever!

Dunno if I’d want to get her winter stuff, and I’m a little wary of giving stuff that’s too far ahead. :-/

Carters have great sales. I love their oneis and PJs. Make sure you get bigger sizes and variety of sizes… 3-6, 6-9, 9-12. Think how old baby would be indifferent seasons and then shop accordingly for short and long sleeves.
If you want to add winter stuff, now is the time to check winter close out sales.

get lots of head bands, pins and clips are easily available but head bands are very less, and if you can find fancy lace leggings and lace frocks, being mum of girl whenever I go to pak I miss these stuff.
