Isnt it about time guys!? Islamabad people/administration were causing them way too many problems so they cancelled their Capital Park plans and left for Rawalpindi. Typical! But its better than nothing at least. I’m sure there will be a mad rush just like there was when the first few openined in Karachi and Lahore, why are people obsessed w/the first day of things?

Having to dress up and put your name down and wait around to get into the bloody Pizzaface Hut in Jinnah Super....I just about ROTFL...right there infront of rows of patiently waiting people in their Sundays Best...
overseas the pieshop has to beg and entice people with 2 for ones and all of those specials..

Quite True.. ppl spend too much on junk (per head) just for status where contrary you could had dinned or had lunch in respectable restaurant with all the leisure and air to enjoy.
I don’t understand what’s the fun for standing in cue for ages (self service) and then you have to find a place in over crowded room to sit and have a bite of what you bought.

look where your living dude. At least islamabad is better than peshawar when it comes to eating out but its not as good as lahore. All you have to see is the movie harold and kumar man, when you crave something, you crave it.

Give your self break yara.. not to sound offending but states have lot more junkeys which still are finding ways in Middle east. IF one is so desperate to carve on then I would rather prefer as steak or any thing else over Big Mac.

Peshawar has a world of delectable local food available which is probably a bit healthier than McLibel...Even Chief Burger kicks ass...

I agree with everyone about MCD's and the weirdness that people get dolled up to go eat ther ein Pak. But for myself, the reason I visit McD's and other joints like KFC in pakistan is because I can FINALLY EAT THE MEAT!!!!!! Here I am just confined to filet-o-fish sandwich and fries (even that I now found out is made in beef lard) :(
And KFC I can eat chicken!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! otherwise here all i can have is ummmm mashed potatoes w/out gravy and their new fish poppers. Grr! :(

Chief burger kicks ass in another way. aka Diareah! If anyone has seen the back of mcdonalds and thought it was unsanitary, they should see the back of chief burger in the summer!! I dont think they even keep their beef in a freezer, probably just on a pile on the floor somewhere. Its all bacteria and crap, then they throw it on a burger.
But seriously, in usa I find that the speciality Pakistani restaurants have awesome desi food, even better than in Pakistan, not sure why but people have told me due to the higher quality of the meat and ingredients. But when you go to Pakistan, you cant find good Paki food at most places. But you find awesome american food in pakistan, I mean you can get a steak meal for like 300 rupees and something like that at TGi fridays or whatever would cost you 20 bucks and not even be as good. But anyway dont mock McDonalds, they have the best burgers anywhere.
