with time .. ppl will get used to of it.. i think .. its just okay .. but not that good...the previous one was more cozy and user friendly

Every time there was a redesign of the GS forums, somebody opened a thread like this one. In fact I think even I did that once.

But every time people got used to it after a while. So no big deal. :)

Doesn’t the redesign team realize that it is difficult and painful to read a mile long line across a page/screen ?

That is why, since eternity, the newspapers are composed of something called COLUMNS. Duh.

it is hard for us to please everyone. the design is based on hundreds of metrics and stats.

saving the password is known issue in safari as it does not comply with all the css standards (remember me area is burried). a fix is in the works.

and as i have said in the news and feedback thread, this is a work in progress. there is only so much we can do and test in a test environment. as has always been the norm, subtle changes will be made as we go along.

AND .. Umer is right. every single time we have tweaked the design, a similar thread has popped up. for every 100,000 users, a few tens will never like it.

NOW ... having done with my venting .. specific suggestions are always welcome. "its not good", "old was better", etc are just like telling your doctor "it hurts" .. where? what? be more specific and your wish may come true.
