You all must have heard about the Wikileaks documents and how the Guardian, New York Times and Der Speigel have provided all these documents for general use.
The question then comes what new media do you believe? Does it come down to bias? Because these are the same documents, the same source of information. Yet two completely different view points.
I actually want to discuss which piece of news would you believe and why? If you read both articles which would you be inclined to believe and for what reasons?
it goes on CM. the Spectator emphasised that the Guardian didnt contextualise the civilian deaths that were covered up by nato/us. every newspaper chose to emphasise a different aspect of the leaks, probably because there was so much of it (93000 or so letters?)
i dont think you can really know what is the case as far as Pakistan’s involvement and the scale of it is concerned. you have to look at it probabilistically. High probability of support for certain groups, unlikely to be at a scale so high that Pakistan wouldnt face consequences.

Hey you still visit. Well the article state two very different things. The NYT does not cover the veracity of the information out of which 80% are not considered credible by the US government.
