If I sold my 3-bedroom house, I could buy two mansions in NJ. I would rather have a small house in the city that never sleeps than a large house in a place that is in perpetual coma.

Larki...school system is better? when was the last time an NJ kid won the Intel prize (formerly known as the Westinghouse prize)? Schools in NJ are no way near the schools in the city.

I missed this post before..

Yes...the school system is better....the student/teacher ratio is much smaller than in the city...the test scores are higher...n oh yes as for ur jab about the intel prize...there was a nj kid on the list for 2002....but i dont believe this rele represents the entire school system just those particular individuals....

As for u selling ur 3 bedroom house to buy 2 mansions...well in this case i'll have to assume that ur house is worth at least $2 mil...either that or u have a very distorted mental picture of what a mansion is....

...the only thing good about new jersey is that the light at the end of the tunnel is new york...

Re: Re: Re: New Jersey, New Jersey!

posh, but boring.
u can find posj neighbourhoods and areas in Omaha Nebraska and diuox falls south dakota too, dunn mean they are fun places.

Question to BabaG:

Can you convince yourself how this Matsui san Karinajee repartee helps pakistan or world culture? They're having way too much fun. On toppa that as Vivekbhai noticed Matsui is accusing dark Tamils of winning contests and going to IIT

Well NYC is only a stone's throw away. My ideal is to live in NJ (Short Hills/Summit area) or Long Island/upstate NY in a gorgeous mansion and spend nights on the town in NYC for fun. That takes care of the boring issue pretty nicely.

I don't think there's anything worthwhile on the East coast to begin with, makes me want to throw up, everytime I think of living on the eastern seaboard. Except for the Carolinas, and Florida(only in winter), everything is trash.

On the other hand, states such as Washington, and Oregon, totally rocks. Wouldn't live any place else, if I have to settle in the US.

Interesting choice of towns

Well that’s your opinion. Apparently you like warmer climates. I on the other hand prefer moderate-to-cool climates. The east coast (more specifically the northeast region of the US) is my ideal. The closer to NYC (without actually being in NYC), the better. I love the far-reaching cosmopolitan feel of this area. It’s pulsating energy, news in the making every minute, wealth being generated each second, skyscrapers, tons of entertainment, people, culture, fashion-hub, shopping, and more. Frankly I’d feel lost living anywhere else.

I have to ask!!! Have u ever lived on the East Coast...if not I don't think ur qualified to call it "trash" as u put it...Now I've never lived in Washington or Oregon so I could easily say that I would much rather live on the East Coast but that would be an unfair n biased judgement on my part....

errrr, NJ in itself is a boring pit.. the fact that you are closer to Philly and NYC does not make NJ un-boring (as the IKEA ad says) but that you live in a boring place which is close to some fun places.

yeah and NJ may have some okay places, but they surely dont compare to those in major cities.

gracias

New jersey boring jagah hai. agarchay woh philadelphia or NYC kay khareeb hai jahan hulla gulla hota hai laikin agar aap NYC ya Philly ko na dekhain toh NJ kaafi boring jagah hai.

The thing I dislike about North East is its overly “far-reaching cosmopoliton” state, and massive scale of industrialization. It’s a big turn-off.

Apart from places such as New England, there’s not too much what you cannot find in cosmos such as Seattle, and Portland, but you are in amidst of towering snow capped mountains, lush green rain forests, crystal water falls, and just serene natural beauty. Places where I enjoy myself overwhelmingly. The region is not really warm either, quite cold and by far the wettest place in the entire US. In summer, you don’t get sweltering heat waves like North East; average temperature does not go above 70-80 deg.

Yes I have, and thus the judgement. You should visit some of these places, and am sure it will change your perspective

Outy, you are just sore because your women look like Grizzley Adams and not like the Big Haired Jersey chicks..who chew gum wearing those unsightly acid washed jeans and netted shirts.. :Pretty:

well, grizzly may be more apt description, I guess we still haven't moved from the stone-age, where women could actually start following the modern rituals of hygene..perhaps some day..

what you need is more chinkos to come in from Hong Kong..that should even out the follicle folly in a generation or two. If you can wait that long.
