OK guys here I am again. With new and more issues to get solved. Some of you might remember I had my Nikkah in Pakistan in August 2008. I think I posted some pictures too. Shadi was planned to be here in US. But now there are almost 80% chances that Im gona go to Pakistan for the wedding. Oh Yes I am going ;). I have almost convinced everyone. Lets see how it goes. Allah knows the best.
So yeh as I have posted a lot of times about my experience with Allenora Lahore for my Nikkah makeup with Red Lehnga. If you guys dont remember .. the long story short is… There make up might be good but I ended up having a bad experience. Looked like a mask. when fixed it looked horrible once again.
For my Wedding I am planning to wear a beige, with very tradition jewellery, with the Tikka that our moms wore on their weddings :D. I am looking for a neutral make up. Yeh yeh I know you ll be like there are already so many threads about bridal makeup and salons. But urggghhh… Please show some insight once again :). Im not asking who does better makeup. I am asking where should I be going for a neutral makeup. I do not want to end caked up and with any sharply defined features.
I know Allenora’s makeups are masked up. They come out good in pictures. Heavy eye makes up and heavy base. I dunt want all tht. I might want to concentrate more on eye makeup but without having any sharp looks in the eyes. I am not a fan of NEW LOOK makeup too.
Which one should be the best place (in Lahore) to go for a fool proof promises. I mean I want to get what I am told. Dont want to end up having unexpected. I dunt want to experience it the second time having said that I already had one bad experience with Allenora. I do not want to be treated as a product.
Please show some insight or I dunt mind if you already have a thread over such issue and direct me over thr. Im too lazy or say mindful to search specifically right now.

Ayesha something.... ask prototype.... why don't you try getting some trial party makeup done from these ppl before settling who to get ...it might mean spending some extra $$$ but you might get a feel of how you will be treated on your big day....

evrytime b4 when any1 askd who shud they go for makeup i use to say annie frm alle nora....but after our last experience with her (she did my bhabi's make-up) i m nt sure what can i suggest. but to her credit, may i say this is the only time i hvnt liked a bride done by her, frm however many i have seen. its nt like she did a horrible job but she def didnt do a good job and infact my bhabi got her make-up done by her assistant on nikkah n mehndi n she lukd much better both these days compared 2 her barat makeup done by annie.

I actually broke the lazy ice over me and searched previous threads about the same issue. I think I might book Madeeha's. Dunt know about Valima yet. Hope i ll be a happy costumer after the makeup (fingers crossed :/)

U know what, this time I would recommend you stay away from the big name places....the small, "no-name" type places can do just as good makeup as the big names. but for a fraction of the price. They can end up surprising u, and in a good way.
