guys I am really not trying to have a pissing contest here. I say openly, give this govt a chance.
but how do we evaluate them, what are the targets they have that they should be gauged against, what are their promises and how are they planning to meet them.
I mean fine fine, get rid ofmusharraf and bring back the first PCO judges, thats all okay.
How does that then open more univerwities, how does that control out of control madrasas (the percentage that is out of hand) etc.
I mean if u have no goals then its easy to claim success .. or from the POV of the other side failure.
To be honest, every problem facing Pakistan has solutions. Not easy solutions, may be, but solutions are definitely there if we put our minds to it. This particular government, unfortunately, has no wisdom, desire or ability to tackle these problems. Its like a rudderless ship where no one really knows who is the captain.
First step is political stability and a unified chain of command, where everyone knows who is the decision-maker. And second is for the decision-maker to have good judgement and to assmble a good team around himself. Then everything else will fall in place.
