Any new games you are looking forwards to this year?

I’m still backlogged on my wishlist for this year itself. I’ll be more focused on getting those games before I go for anything released this year. Among them are Halo 4, Transformers Fall of Cybertron and the Zone of the Enders HD collection.

This just got me looking at 2013 release dates. It’s interesting to see all the hype and how people get all excited for games ages before they even come out and then when they do it’s usually a deflating ballon.
In the good ol’ days, apart from anticipating Nintendo’s next release of Zelda or Mario, most of the excitement happened after the game was released when people were actually playing the darned thing and enjoying it i.e. Half Life.
I’ve been hankering after a decent point and click puzzle adventure or PC platformer. Just seen that the Broken Sword series is having a new installment soon.. after over 6 years, so hoping that’s worth playing.

Yes, I agree that there is a lot more anticipation around the release of computer games these days. I think the this is all part of the advertising and marketing of games and things like opening stores at midnight and having viral videos online is for trying to boost sales.
