I like Loreal’s true match foundation!
Re: New foundation (please recommend)
I picked up Loreal’s Infallible Pro Matte foundation cuz there was a sale and I can’t believe how nice it turned out…
For those looking for something on the less expensive side for everyday use, give it a try.
Re: New foundation (please recommend)
Kat Von D’s Lock it tattoo foundation. Best coverage ever! Doesn’t oxidize, is long wear and builds up.
Re: New foundation (please recommend)
^So need to try that! Everyone seems to love it
Re: New foundation (please recommend)
Is it really thick though? If foundation is thick, my skin shows it.
Re: New foundation (please recommend)
Saw the Dior air foundation today that’s both liquid and powder. Liquid when applied but as soon as you smooth it in it’s powder. They don’t give samples of the Dior Air nor the Diorskin Flash because of how they have to be applied. Has anybody here tried Dior Air foundation?
I have a real urge to buy it.
Currently in love with the Dior Air, Marc Jacobs and Dior Star ones and I feel like buying all of them.

My favourite is Nars Sheer Glow
Re: New foundation (please recommend)
^^You could get a beauty rep to apply it on you to see if you like it..
Re: New foundation (please recommend)
Picked it up on the weekend and tried it out.
Amazing!!!
Re: New foundation (please recommend)
Isn’t it just the best?
Re: New foundation (please recommend)
I found out on the weekend when I was sample shopping that all this time the sales lady had chosen the wrong shade for me and that my correct shade changed my whole opinion of Nars Sheer Glow. It kind of went towards magical and I liked how it made my skin look.
Re: New foundation (please recommend)
does anyone try mayebelline fit me foundation ?how it is?
Re: New foundation (please recommend)
I’m using it, and I like it. I’m using the matte formula, and it keeps me looking oil free for quiet a long time. But finding a shade in it is very very hard. At least for me.
Re: New foundation (please recommend)
Heard good reviews about Fit Me. I just don 't know what shade I’d be.
Re: New foundation (please recommend)
It’s good for an event…where you want an absolute flawless finish but I do find it a bit heavy for everyday…
Re: New foundation (please recommend)
Diorshow Mascara ruined my eyelashes.
Re: New foundation (please recommend)
^I love it.. For me the only mascara that comes close is Maybelline Volum Express but I prefer Diorshow..
I do like quite gloopy mascaras tho, and want extra volume rather than length..
Re: New foundation (please recommend)
I don’t know…I used it for a year and found my lashes were falling a lot. I have stopped using all sort of mascaras for the time being. I think I’ll choose Estée Lauder’s double wear next time…will use their primer as well to protect weakening of my lashes. I’m just too scared now. ![]()
Re: New foundation (please recommend)
Oh I realized this thread was about foundations. ![]()
Ive always used Diorskin Nude…with estee Lauder’s concealer and Dior transparent pressed powder thingy. For everyday use I use BB cream from The Body Shop. I’ve been toying with the idea of trying out MAC Studiofix…let’s see.
I think I prefer natural look and Diorskin Nude exactly does that coz it’s sheer and people have told me they couldn’t tell if I were wearing any foundation…at the same time it keeps your skin hydrated and glowing all day.
Re: New foundation (please recommend)
Do you know…I have tried so many expensive foundations ranging from Dior to Chanel to MAC and I ALWAYS come back to my trusty “maybelline mineral power powder foundation.” I am a light 1/2 in this range and it is perfect..it glides on naturally (even though it’s a powder) and the coverage is quite good (I have some acne scarring and its invisible with this on…no need for concealer either). Plus it doesn’t clog pores. I know some people aren’t fans of drugstore branded makeup products (nor was I before) but honestly sometimes you are just paying a hefty price tag for no reason at all. I don’t mind paying hefty sums for anything that goes on my face but time and time again I have been disappointed by brands such as the ones Iv mentioned so I stick to maybelline for my foundations (and I know I’m not damaging my skin either!).
