Any experience with this company for calls to Pakistan?
Someone told me about the company and that they had good rates for Pakistan so I called them y’day but no one picked up the phone.. today the person called me saying that "someone’ has given them my number and that she is calling regarding the service.. long story short, this is what their package looked like:
-3.9 c/min wih connection fee
-5.9 c/min without connection fee
-90 free mins for first three months
-you get the monthly bill for the minutes that you use
-no contract
here is a catch:
-$38.95 one time refundable fee
I told the lady that I will call her back to confirm the service once I spoke to that someone to verify some information or to ask for their experience.. she didn’t let me off the hook and in fact passed me on to the supervisor who was very chatty and didn’t let me say a single word.. he insisted that I should take the plan right now to take advantage of the 90 free mins.. I kept asking him to give me his number so I could call them back once I have had it verified with some other people but nah he insisted “we are not gonna lie to you- no one has heard about us because we are new n blah blah” ok I understand it but just the fact that you are pushing it soooo very hard makes you sound all fake n such!
my concern is what’s the guarantee that they will pick up my phone after a month if I want to cancel the service and want my fee back??? No guarantee, no one picked up the phone when I tried calling them to ask about the service and their calls always come from the restricted number..Anyways, he didn’t give me the number to call him back let alone the number/website to verify the service offer.
I prety much hung up on him and since then he has called me three times already which I have been ignoring!Does anyone know about the reliability of this service?good? bad? Fraud alert?
so i have recived calls from NEw Era few times and by many others alike. I have been with G3 telecom for more then 6 years or so and there service is excellent and never once had any problem. These small guys are quite irritating and i'd say not to go with them because their customer service really Sucks!
I think its NuEra but yeah someone called me yesterday and wasted 10 minutes, i wanted to polite and not hang up like i usually do but he just kept going on and on and when he was trying to get me to sign up he said "We offer calls to pakistan for 3.9 c a minute and no other fees" well i was like okay let me check out your website and right there in clear words it said .39 c connection fee EACH time you call! Then he kept insisting it wasn't each time. I do not like liars and have had enough of these stupid companies that try to put in a hidden fee somewhere.
I dont know about customer service or even how reliable the company is but I think 3.9 is a good deal if you do longer calls.

These sort of companies are the big cheater. Do not trust on their rate and their juglary. Do not withheld $38.95 as its very hard to get cancel the service. They won't refund the held amount and offer you some free minutes in lieu of:

Do not misguided by their ongoing call. These sort of companies are the fraud/cheater and won't refund the held amount once cancelled and offed few minutes in lie of. Their offered rates have hidden juglary once you have it then you get it!
I signed Nuera in the month of Feb and after using for a while their service is bad I tried to disconnect and then I realized I am trapped badly and had no choice to get rid off them asap. It was totaly different what they told me @ the time of activation.
-No refund of $38.95 and they want to give me back only calling card
-They also charge some traffic charges which they never tell you.
-I never received invoice and they were charging me $8.95 late fee on $5.54 outstanding bill
In short I paid about $ 70 in two months to use long distance service.
I have had some really bad experience with these fake telecoms, but now I use stana card which hasn't given me any problems. No hidden charges or activation charges.
A big fraud company. They will start charging less for first month. And 3rd month they will charge you 70-80 dollers per month. And you can not launch a complaint for overcharging. They will ask you for your visa card at the start of your contract and then charge the amount from your visa without asking you. When you call them, they will listen your story and will not help you at all. It is a big fraud company looking for your visa card and making money from you. Very bad call quality as well. Take ages to connect a call.
