New DVD Writer

Just bought this one…

It seemed to be the better one in terms of features and functions offered. It however only supports the DVD +R/+RW format and not the -R/-RW format, but from what I hear, the former is the one thats compatible with most commercial DVD players and DVD ROMs, so I need not really worry!?

Anyone else have this product, or even another brand of a DVD Writer… any and all comments on the utility of it are welcome!

Hi UT i havent got the DVD writer yet , but what i have heard from my friends ( who got it ) that -R is the protocol which mostly supported by DVD players .

no flaming i can be wrong though.

why didnt you went for multi format ????

works every time like a charm .. :)

DVD +R/+RW media is more expensive also.
