it started on ary digital yestoday, and i must say wat a great drama after seeing episode 1.
its been directed by the king, javed mohumad fazil, has he ever made a bad drama? NO, so u can see how great this drama will be,

faisal qureshi, dammm why is he in all the dramas these days, tired of seeing his pop belly aijaz aslum, as a villain, wat a great role for him and he has done superb acting
**adnan sidiqi, **seeing him after a long time, came in only 1 scene in first epidoe
**sunneta marshal, **plays adnans wife, again only came for 1 scene but looked stunning.
i dnt know the other girls name whos faisals wife.
fais' wife in the drama is naheed and bro don't ask me what the toddler is called :D. indeed a explosive start, i have a feeling this 1 won't drag and it'll end after 13 episodes'... this drama is truely reflecting the actual hardships ppl face, well portrayed misconceptions in faisail's mind already.
well i havnt seen bulandi, but one bad film does not make him bad, have you even seen his other films, he was by far pakistans best director in the 70’s, before zia ul haq shut pak cinema, and in that period we had one of the best film industrys, way ahead of india, thanx to zia ul haq that all changed and now we are the worst film indutry ever.
have you even seen javaid fazils lastest dramas, his last 3 dramas have been smash hits (chandni raatein, mehndi, jaise jantey nahin) he scored a hat rick for super hits, now looks like hes got his 4th consecitive smash hit with halaat.
he is by far one of the best film makers we have in pakistan.
Suhaib, I respect your feelings for this Javed Fazil dude. But dramas can never be “hits” or flops" - films, however are, but these days the usefulness of these terms is in doubt even for them.
I watched his Samina Peerzada/Nadeem/Salma Agha starrer…the name was Lazawaal or something along those lines. I was not impressed. More recently, he directed this film called Dil To Pagal Hai, though the producers decided to dump him towards the end of the film’s shooting for some other director. From whatever I saw of that film, anyone even remotely associated with that sort of trash needs to be buried alive!! Agreed though, some of the music was pretty good, the film was really, really bad.
Syed Noor movies look like Cannes material infront of Bulandi, Lazawaal, Dil To Pagal hai and their likes. This director lacks any sort of finesse, I thought his “hit” drama serials were rather crude and too filmi for my taste! It’s another case that he himself thinks of himself as some intellectual…oh well…I could go on and on…
