PIA needs freedom, otherwise have as many CEOs, they’ll all fail…
Currently the biggest problem with PIA is politics, unions and their affiliations…e.g. it is PMLn in govt, so PPP/ PTI wont let the right thing happen and when it is PPP in govt, PMLn wont let it happen…
PIA should be a public ltd company with no control from govt…currently Ministry of Defence is managing it…and we all can see how “good” they are…

Not just PIA but all the major departments and corporations such as PCB, PTV, PEMRA, FBR, ECP, PHF & NAB etc. need to be free of government control
