What are compulsory things in Islam and other religion for new born baby?
Like shaving head etc…
Re: New born and religious rituals
For a new born, some of the rituals involved are:
Azaan in the right ear, Iqama in the left and Tehneek (rubbing a chewed morsel of date or small amount of honey on the pallet).
On the 7th day (or a multiple thereof iirc):
Aqeeqa - shaving of the head, qurbani (1 animal for a girl, 2 for a boy), giving of sadaqa - weight of the hair in silver.
Bury the hair (after having it shaved) and the dried umbilical cord portion of the child.
These are the rituals involved, though I won’t get into the academics of it here (is it fardh, wajib, sunnah, mustahab).

in addition to this naming a child. if you cannot sadaqa as silver you can pay it in currency equal to the silver.
