if people can buy a box of cookies because the packaging looks good then why don’t you think a book buyer is any different…if the picture of a man and a woman in a romantic pose on the cover of a romantic novel doesn’t sell then why would they spend a lot of money to put those pics on?

Name and title do attract you (alongwith cover), but I don't buy books on these criteria. Its about writer and topic of the book that is the deciding factor to buy a book or not
