Neutral toddler room ideas

Soon we will be moving to our new house and I am thinking of decorating my daughter’s room in such a way that it can be utilized as adult’s room in need, so the furniture should be something suitable for adults, and theme should be something neutral but beautiful.
I have to buy bedroom furniture and all stuff for that. I like either espresso colored furniture or metallic furniture.
Few days ago I saw a lovely picture of neutral kids room somewhere, the walls were painted in light teal color, I loved it but couldn’t find it now.
please give me some ideas of furniture, walls, decoration, lights etc.

Thanks in advance

Re: Neutral toddler room ideas

check www.ohdeedoh.com and www.projectnursery.com
they have lots of nurseries there that double as guest rooms.

Re: Neutral toddler room ideas

Thanks a lot SGC, i am loving these wall paints

http://www.ohdeedoh.com/ohdeedoh/small-kids-big-color/a-taylormade-room-small-kids-big-color-entry-28-162136?image_id=3061214
but the problem is I am not getting which paints exactly to use to get this result?

and one more thing any idea how to achieve this kinda look? is it some paint or some sticker type thingy?

Actually I want to first go for some wall decor (sticker type) then want to pick some color for wall and closets according to that.

I have seen some wall stickers at home depot and lowe’s but their collection is limited to cartoon n disney stickers, i have seen some beautiful ones online but I want to know the best reliable place to buy these things.

Re: Neutral toddler room ideas

^ those images are probably stencilled on to the wall with a lighter paint colour but you can also get lots of wall stickers in different patterns, prints, etc and use those in a white over a light blue wall to get the same effect.

i’ve ordered from www.whatisblik.com before and they’re very good. you can also look for them on www.etsy.com which is another good place to shop.

Re: Neutral toddler room ideas

you can do a cherry blossom theme. With pink, gray and white. The walls can be gray, with white furniture and decorative things with cherry blossom (pillows, painting, wall hanging etc.)

Re: Neutral toddler room ideas

I like lighter wood and olive combination for kid/guest room combination.

Re: Neutral toddler room ideas

I am liking your idea but the problem is instead of white furniture i love metallic silver kinda furniture.
Instead of true grey I am thinking about this type

and this instead of pink

I will paint walls this lavender color and closets pink color, and furniture last point to think…

Re: Neutral toddler room ideas

I have selected some wall decors from a website, but need suggestions how to accommodate in this color combo, or go for greens as mentioned by njgal. I dont want the room to be over filled or toooo colorful.

Also suggest me which one of these stickers will stand more against a light beige or lighter shade of this sand color
