I am not even sure if this topic goes here or not .. but i want to know if any of you knows NLP? I want to learn it and I want the basics to start.

I need to start from basics. The very basics. could you ask him for the references or guides which i can start off. I came up with few but they were advance.

My friend attended the course and is certified and she says its changed her a lot.

one of my friend she did the same thing with me. she asked me to do some steps .. and i felt the change.
however, the question i am asking here is that i want to learn NLP. not to boost my confidence, not to boost my sub-concious but to have more control over others .. ;)

well it works, if you gotta see you can search for "Darren Brown" and you will see mind blowing videos. but i want to learn it in more practical way

NLP Techniques will be covered in any NLP book. NLP Pocketbook or NLP for Dummies are good to learn the basics. Youtube has many vidoes showing NLP in pratice.
There are techniques to get rid of limiting beliefs, fears, phobias. Improve self-confidence and feelings of self-worth and self-esteem.
NLP can help in communication, one-to-one or to a group. It helps in meetings, giving presentations, sales and consulting etc etc.
best way to learn is to attend a basic NLP introduction course.

Business NLP is the sort that people are certified in … There is a whole suite of applications from hypnosis to psychological treatment and even propaganda, psychological warfare and even black magic.
NLP is derived from gnosis … it is a scientific tag that has been given to the act of meditation/pondering and reflection. It is a type of introspection as well. The idea is based on the concept that there is a universe outside and another universe inside. The two are supposed to be mutually interdependent. Adjustments from universe affects the other and vice versa. NLP is designed to make adjustments to reach an intended position in either ourselves or in others.
For sure religious symbolism has deep rooted NLP aspects, such as the prostration - lowering of the head to touch the ground - the head being the position of high rank and in turn it has high position over the rest of the body. To lower it is a symbol of humility and slavehood before what it is intended to be lowering towards. The act of ihsan - is a neurolinguistic position of prayer - that we “see God” yet we do not see Him.
NLP is mostly used for bad things or in the wrong way. Kids can be trained to be obedient with NLP too. You can’t help getting the loss of the spirit with its indulgence. I compare it to black magic. Language is quite a potent force and it determines our concepts, so by using language in certain ways we can determine the opinions of most people - those who don’t think outside the box. Masters can see the strings of the marionets and smile at the puppetiers whilst they play. Learn it for academic brilliance - become a master, but don’t become a puppetier. My adivce.
