Back in mid-1800s, a scientist who was Jewish hypothesized that based on physical features one can determine who is prone to criminality. Per his scale, Jews and North Italians were the Brahmins, not prone to criminality. While South Italians and Peruvians (best of my memory) were identified as less evolved and prone to criminality.
Fast forward to the present. Neurocriminology is said to provide insights into whose brain is pre-disposed to crime. An example was given of a person who escaped death penalty based on this theory. That he was pre-disposed. The flip side? The article indicated neurocriminology may be used to lock people up even if they have done their time. Thoughts?

Post tangentially related wont be considered off topic. It is recognized that discussions can veer in different directions. And that using the off topic card to stifle debates is not healthy.
