why do net friends sometime get too comfy and start to like and want you more than friends?

to me…its like how wud u behave with a ‘net friend’ as if they were sitting ryt in front of u…
i wudnt make flirty comments i wudnt do hurkutein which i wudnt in real life with a male or a female…so just behave as we really are in a chai cafe…:rotato:

this way u’d watch wot ur saying and u can slap a guy if he tries to be more then friends…

Nice Comments and discussion, But let me add one thing, It is natural that every one get attract to opposite Gender. So it is not a bad thing that somebody chat with male or female, only an important thing is that during chat/communication your heart should be clean, then u will found good, sincere and match friendship on internet.

I once added a guppan on my msn, she said she does'nt talk to strangers bcoz there is nothing to talk about or nothing to talk of, but today we are good friends.
And someone on GS once said! "chatting is the root of all evil".
When u chat to someone (boy or girl), i dont think u will be cool with a formal chat, its gonna get informal and personal in a matter of time.

^ isn’t it depends what kind of chatting though?? I was never an online person but since I joined GS - made lot of good frens. I came across ppl that I would have never interacted with in real life.
There is good side to it as well bad. If you know your limits then I guess you wont look at it only as ‘evil cause’. There are guppies that I talk to almost on a daily basis - never met them but then they r good frens. Now how do I know they are good frens - basically majority’s opinions counts. I haven’t heard bad stuff about em nor they did anything that will make me think they are not worth of my time. They didn’t cross limits that don’t need to be crossed. Interact in a way that we would have if we were to meet in real life.
My stretegy to online frens is bit diff - I start off with bit fun n jokes n after knowin the person for long time I come out of my shell, which is rare .. very rare.
