Yes Smoking should be banned along with alcohol. Most wars, violence and deaths occurred in Secular age so don't know why do you want to ban religion, besides religion is quite a personal thing and it doesn't harm the religious person or others.
So you mean to say that I can go to Peshawar and open a video shop without any hassle. Cool.
Lady! I agree that religion is a personal thing but since beginning the followers have not acted so. In every age there was voilence in the name of religion. Always happened and always will. You can tell religion is a personal thing to the woman who got whipped on her behind by Talibans. You may also want to tell that to the hundreds of women who died in Europe on the accusation of witchcraft.
Yes accidents and fights are not caused by alcohol but by the ones who drink it.
Now are we saying that the people who dont drink dont cause fights or accidents. Then in that case it should be zero fights and accidents in Saudi as it is a dry country.
Again! if you put a monkey on the driving seat - things are bound to happen. The idea is to find the monkeys drunk or otherwise before the incident.
A lot of people involved in accidents and fights cost millions of pounds to Governments.
And what do we do with the people who were not even drunk and caused an accident.
Your argument is more like as people die from car accidents - lets ban the cars.
The hard fact or the harsh reality is people will drink - and it is government's responsibilty to ensure that if a monkey decides to drive the car give him the harshest penality before he injures himself or cause death of another.
The dangers of consuming oil, salt, butter, coffee, sugar and tea are much more less than of the alcohol. Please check the data of alcohol related deaths.
The whole Middle East, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Pakistan is almost dry. 99% of the people dont drink is these areas. I wonder why there are so many heart problems.
Thats why in my earlier post I said moderation is the key. If you are not a moderate person you can die of sugar or salt.
Good day.
