They are not in their room, and their alarm is going off. I can hear the blasted thing into my room.

PCG, are you telling me that living in dorm is cheaper then living off campus? which uni do you go to? Coz i have experienced that living off campus is much cheaper and better. :)

Well, living on campus is cheaper if you go to a Uni which is downtown in a big city. Which means the apartments around will prolly cost a lot more than the dorms along with the problem of commuting (money and time consuming)
College towns are the best places to live off campus.

PCG - I had neighbor that shared a wall that set his alarm for 4am, hit snooze every 9 min until 5am, and finally would roll out of bed and out the door without turning it off. Leaving it to run out, usually 59 min.
I didn't have to be up until 8, so I wanted to strangle this man with the cord to his alarm clock.
He was much better than the woman that couldn't sleep unless her radio or TV were on full blast and the lights were blazing.
Hated dorm life.

With dorms you usually have to purchase meal plans, and usually on campus food is crap. I find living off campus much cheaper and more convenient.

PCG thats not as bad as rotten blasting music from next door in summer. I swear I almost threw a shoe at him this past summer! I even asked him to turn it down, but did he listen, no!

Oh this reminds me of my co-ed dorms at Uni. Yes one of the building was co-ed. My next door neighbors were two stunningly beautiful girls from Israel and Brazil. Oh the accent and the whole nine yards... something about the countries that have a the sound of 'zee' in them. I told them that my culture requires me to be very nice to my neighbors. So I have an obligation to knock at their door every now and then and make sure they are OK and didn't sleep hungry. They thought that was very cute among a dozen other cute things about me. I love neighbors, specially if they are good looking.
