Neglecting

What sort of behaviour is considered negligence between couples.

Note: I’m not talking about sexual patterns or intimacy so keep your bloody hormonal/pervy comments to yourself.

Re: Neglecting

I only know one thing it hurts :(

Re: Neglecting

ignoring and maybe a grumpy arrogant voice ..

Re: Neglecting

silent treatment.

Re: Neglecting

Topic could be expanded beyond couples to family members. Deliberate neglecting is Passive aggressive behavior - the worst form of hurt

Re: Neglecting

telling your spouse that you are not feeling well and you need some medical care even then he goes to sleep or goes out to have dinner / lunch ............to me this was ignorance.....and the list can go on

Re: Neglecting

Negligence is ignoring someone even after they make an issue - ANY issue - known and clear.

Re: Neglecting

Doing things that might irritate your spouse.

Not being there for him/her even though you know you should be.

Having less and less to do with them and abandoning them...not just physically but emotionally as well.

Re: Neglecting

Refusing to make him a sammich. That is major neglect right there!

Re: Neglecting

It is not neglect when they are busy for a short while

Re: Neglecting

  2. refusing to compromise or understand the others' point of view
  3. having a 'my way or the highway' attitude
