Neend ke panchi palkoN par, behlaatey rahey hum kitni deir
roothey huwey kuch sapnoN ko, manatey rahey hum kitni deir

aaNkhoN sey keh kar jaaney kya, wo chala gaya khamoshi se
uljhey huwey un masloN ko, suljhaatey rahey hum kitni deir

palkoN ke taley tum kya jaano, toofaan chupa tha kis rut ka
khoon ke aaNsu chup chup ke, barsaatey rahey hum kitni deir

tarraptey huwey armaanoN ko, kya lazzat di angaaroN ney
yaadoN ki raakh mat poocho, sulgaatey rahey hum kitni deir

ye khadsha tha ke mushkil hey, tera laot aana lekin phir bhi
thaam ke haath ummeedoN ka, tehlaatey rahey hum kitni deir

kab hota hey ke mohabbat meiN, har ik ko muraadeiN milti heiN
dil ko apney dil hi dil meiN, samjhaatey rahey hum kitni deir

pat-jharr ke zaalim mosam ney, har ghar ujaarra shaakoN ka
khizaaN meiN tootey pattoN ko, sehlaatey rahey hum kitni deir**

bohot dinoN (bal k. saaloN) ba'ad yahaaN se
guzarna hua aur yeh Ghazal dekhne ka
mauq'a haasil hua.kalaam bahut hi aala hai aur bahut pasand aaya shukriyaa.
