Now finally i found the song…mere jeevan main ana…what a beautiful song…though its a copy of some english song but i still LOVE it. plus it showcases the very gorgeous lollywood actress Neeli. She looks very very pretty in this video, her face-cuts are beautiful. wonder where she is now?
i remember a lot of times this song was talked about on gs that neeli starred in it but it wasnot found at that time. so when i saw this i instantly thought a thread should be made on her.

ahan well if u dont know much about pak music then i am assuming u wont know about lollywood either and neeli was a lollywood actress.
oh yes i am massive fan of abida perveen too. ghulam ali was good...and dont know much about habib wali mohd but i love his patriotic song Roshan-o- rakhshan, nayyar-o-taban (with tina sani and afshan). ahhhh those days

Habib Wali Mohammad was know for singing Bahadur Shah Zafar’s Ghazaliyaat. he was good. amazing!****

i found the original version…from pakistani movie wafa released in 1981…starring asif raza mir…the orig is still by john denver but khalid sang it for this film first and then did the remix version

hey seema i am not sure if he is still alive. but we can ask funkydesi who said "i think he passed away too soon".
but as u asked yes waheed was married to shazia ijaz (nicknamed mina) but later they divorced and shazia married famous hockey player hassan sardar.
shazia is the daughter of ijaz durrani (noor jahan's second husband). ijaz durrani was one of the top heroes and producer of pakistan. (commonly known as just ejaz...heer ranjha)

Khalid Waheed is very much alive and runs a successful business in Karachi, KHAWAJA FOODS PVT LTD. . I don't know why we don't see him singing any more. He is an awesome talent.
