Neelay Neelay Amber par

One of my favorites songs…

i was just wondering while uploading it that some times what we like something for one reason for our whole life, we may feel sad about it for another reason on any other given day Yet still like it :)..

14786.NEELE NEELE AMBAR PAR

superb song…:k:

BTW who was it? R.D. Burman or Kalyanji Anandji?

nice song. :k:

yaad nahiN yaar :-).. The bottom line is it’s one of my favorites

hanie:

who was who ?..
singer or musciain ?

this was orginionaly sung by kishor…but this one is by Aalamgir…

Anwaar nice choice :k:

Ata..I am asking about Musician…everyone knows this is Kishore Kumar song.

and tsk tsk…Alamgir ki ye awqaat hogai hai:smash: ke woh indian songs garaha hai woh bhi bachon ke keyboard per :rocket:
The poor guy came to Eid Mela in last winter, man what a poor performance was it…he was setting up his DAT by himself and everytime he plays a song it happened to be the wrong song. And he was so embarassed himself. There was no charm in his performance and he ended up singing Chaiyya Chaiyya. I felt sorry for him, poor guy needs to start a business or something and quit singing for good.
However I must say, he is still one of the best vocalist Pakistan ever had. Jawwad is no doubt on the top when it comes to the vocals. Najam Sheraz and Rahim Shah are others to name here.

yar the fact is Alamgir is not Pakistani…he is Bangladeshi…lekin he has superb voice, along with Muhammad Ali shehki has wonderful voice too…
you forgot Naeem Rufi…
yep you right …lekin kia karain ham bhi to gaatay aur suntay hain na

hum tou listeners hain bhai.....we can do bathroom singing on any song, who cares. But this guy earned fame and respect because of his hard work and being the pioneer of pop music in Pakistan. Its hard to digest.

khair i think he has lost his charm so he is feeling OK to sing Indian song and make some bucks in chotay motay melay thelay. I don't think he would have sung any Indian song publically on his peak...i.e. late 70s and 80s. He was the first Kishore clone in sub-continent, so I think he did this song as a tribute, like Kumar Sanu, Abhijeet, Vindo Rathod and B. Supariyo did in the early days of their careers.

yep you right, he never did in Pakistan... infact he doesn't need hindu songs for his fame, he is already famous enough and pioneer in pop as you described...
but those hindu names you mentioned ...had stolen so many Pakistani tones in thier early stage to get fame along Nadeem/shervan and Anuu malik etc...
