If you can't spare any more time (and you have relatives there to help with the planning), its definitely doable.
When my sister got married in Srinagar a few years ago, she flew in with my brother and I just 4 days before the mehndi raat. Granted, all the clothes had been purchased in Karachi months beforehand, and our relatives there had already planned out most of the wedding with my parents over the phone, and my parents had gone a 10 days before us to iron out the last minute details. Things were VERY hectic, but everthing went smoothly in the end.
I'm sure 1 month would be sufficient...just be ready to be very busy in the days leading up to the event :)
